DV Students Learn the Ukulele

Music class is making some sweet sounds at Durhamville Elementary!

Students have been learning how to play the ukulele, following along with Mrs. Wilcox as she taught them proper strumming techniques. The class put their new skills into practice by playing along to “Lime in the Coconut” with The Muppets!

Through hands-on music experiences, students are building rhythm, coordination, and musical confidence while exploring a new instrument. Great work, Durhamville musicians!
