Middle and high school student-athletes can participate in a variety of sports.
Modified sports programs start in 7th grade and opportunities continue through junior varsity and varsity programs. Offerings include (M=Modified, JV=Junior Varsity & V=Varsity):

Athletes moving into the district must be in compliance with the Section III Transfer Rule, while foreign exchange students need special approval. For information, contact the Athletic Department at 315-363-6901.
Involvement in extra-curricular activities fosters connections and helps students develop positive relationships while offering an opportunity to use communication and collaboration skills. We offer a variety of age-appropriate opportunities based on current student interests to encourage involvement. This list is for general purposes and is subject to change.
Elementary: Each elementary school offers a few extra-curricular activities. Check with your child’s school to see what is offered. There are also programs offered outside the district through separate organizations such as Little League, AYSO, Oneida City Recreation, Oneida Public Library, Pop Warner, YMCA, and Boy and Girl Scouts.
Otto Shortell Middle School: OSMS offers a wide variety of activities for students that can include the Jazz Choir, Marching Band, Foreign Language Club, Stage Band/Jazz, National Junior Honor Society, School Newspaper, Student Council, School Yearbook, & Drama Club.
Oneida High School: Students can select from a large range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Opportunities include Anime, Art Club, Chamber Choir, Chess Club, Colgate Seminar, Debate Club, Drama Club, Environmental Club, FBLA, International Relations Club, Jam Club, Jazz Band, Foreign Language Club, Gamer’s Club, Leo’s Club, Marching Band, Mathletics, Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Principal's Advisory Council, Science Olympiad, Ski Club, Student Athletic Council, Student Council, Student Guests of Rotary, Teens for a Better World, TSA, Vocal Jazz, Writer’s Club, Yearbook, Youth Court, & Z Club.
