Important Schedule and Transportation Information

Start and end times for all District buildings will return to their regular schedules, beginning January 26. Please see the schedule below:

Elementary Schools: 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM
- DV Dismissal: 3:10 PM
- WP Dismissal: 3:05 PM
- SS Parent Pick Up: 3:05 PM - Bus Dismissal: 3:15 PM
Middle School: 7:45 AM – 2:26 PM
High School: 7:40 AM – 2:17 PM

For all elementary students, morning route pickup times will remain the same unless families have specifically received updated route information. Because elementary schools now dismiss later in the afternoon, elementary bus drop-off times may occur approximately 10–20 minutes later than in the past. These adjusted drop-off times are a direct result of the later dismissal.

As we transition to the BusRight system, all transportation routes remain subject to adjustment. Families are encouraged to review the Bus Pass (route information) sent to the email address on file with the District.

  • BusRight is a secure, easy-to-use mobile app that allows families to receive real-time information about their child’s school bus. The app provides GPS-based bus tracking, estimated arrival times, and notifications about delays or route changes. This will help improve communication and give families greater confidence and peace of mind regarding student transportation.

  • The implementation of BusRight will:

    Improve student safety and accountability

    Reduce uncertainty around bus arrival and drop-off times

    Provide timely updates about delays, substitutions, or changes

    Improve communication between the Transportation Department and families

    How will families use it?

  • The real-time GPS bus tracking feature will be launched in the coming weeks.
    All other app features—including notifications and route information—will be available immediately upon download.

  • Bus route information will be provided in two ways:

    • Via a direct email from BusRight on January 20

    • Within the BusRight Parent App

    Please check your junk or spam folder for the BusRight email.

  • Possibly. BusRight has analyzed district routes and implemented efficiency improvements. As a result, some routes may have changed. Families should review their most up-to-date route information directly in the app.

  • The BusRight Parent App is always the most up-to-date source for route times and changes.
    Bus passes reflect route times only at the moment they are generated.

  • Student privacy and data security are a top priority.

    • Only authorized users can access student transportation information.

    • The app uses a “Reduced Visibility” setting, meaning the bus location only appears when it is within a few minutes of a student’s stop.
       

  • Yes. BusRight will send notifications about delays, substitutions, or route changes directly through the app.

  • If you are unable to locate the email or have trouble accessing your information, please contact:

  • While not required, families are strongly encouraged to download the app to receive the most accurate, real-time transportation information and updates.

  • Parents and guardians can download the BusRight app on their smartphones and receive information directly from the District. Detailed instructions on how to download, set up, and use the app can be found below.
