Students at Seneca Street had an exciting time in PE class playing the thrilling game “The Floor is Lava!” Working together, students used scooters, hockey sticks, and other gym equipment to carefully travel from one side of the gym to the other without touching the floor.

The activity challenged students to think creatively, solve problems, and communicate with their teammates while staying balanced and coordinated. Along with building teamwork skills, the game also helped students improve agility, strength, and strategic thinking — all while having tons of fun staying “out of the lava!”
