Hands-On Learning in Pre-K

Pre-K students in Mrs. Urtz’s classroom participated in small group learning centers designed to support early literacy and math development.
Students worked on three engaging activities: forming letters using Play-Doh to strengthen fine motor skills and letter recognition, using blocks to explore measurement and comparison concepts, and practicing name spelling to build early writing and identity skills.
These hands-on, play-based experiences help students develop foundational academic skills while supporting coordination, problem-solving, and early language development.
