Where Are They Now: Bryan Bobo, Class of 2003

Alumni Spotlight: Bryan Bobo, Class of 2003
From the courts to the community, Bryan Bobo’s journey is a true example of passion, leadership, and growth.
During his time at OCSD, Bryan was a three-sport athlete—playing soccer, volleyball, and tennis—and credits both athletics and supportive teachers for shaping his experience.
After graduation, Bryan attended Lasell University, where he studied Athletic Training and played collegiate volleyball. He later earned his Master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine, further strengthening his passion for leadership and mentorship.
Bryan went on to spend nearly a decade in college athletics, coaching, mentoring student-athletes, and building strong programs before taking on a new challenge.
Today, he lives in the Finger Lakes, where he works in real estate, continues coaching volleyball, and runs a fine woodworking business—creating custom pieces built to last for generations.
No matter the path, Bryan’s mission remains the same: lead with integrity, build something meaningful, and invest in the success of others.
To future graduates, Bryan offers this advice: "Don’t feel pressured to have your entire life mapped out at 18. Start by pursuing what genuinely interests you and be willing to work hard at it. For me, that began with athletics and coaching, and over time, it evolved into real estate and building my own woodworking business. Each step built on the last.
If you’re willing to take initiative, embrace change, and put in consistent effort, you can create opportunities for yourself rather than waiting for them. Most importantly, find something you care about. When you enjoy what you do, the long hours and challenges feel purposeful, and that’s what makes it sustainable long term."
