Where Are They Now?

Meet Donovan Klein, a proud alumnus of The Oneida City School District, Class of 2014.

One of Donovan's most cherished memories from his time at Oneida is founding the school's Gaming Club. The inaugural meeting drew an impressive turnout, with students returning regularly to enjoy their favorite gaming consoles and trading card games such as Magic: The Gathering. Donovan takes great pride in having created a lasting and meaningful extracurricular community for his fellow students.

Following graduation, Donovan enrolled at Mohawk Valley Community College to study Cybersecurity. Though he did not complete his degree, the experience deepened his passion for the field and broadened his technical knowledge. After gaining valuable work experience in retail, he transitioned into a professional career with Bank of America, where he thrives in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.

To future graduates, Donovan offers this advice: “Don't beat yourself up too much. At the end of the day, a grade is just on a piece of paper and does not shape who you are as a person. I know it's tough, and we alumni relate to you. You got this and don't give up.”
