Spanish 4 Students Volunteer as Translators

This past Saturday, something truly special unfolded in our community.
At the 26th Annual Free Coat Giveaway at the Oneida First United Methodist Church, three Spanish 4 students stepped into a role far bigger than a classroom assignment. Alongside their teacher, Trevin Robinson, and Katherine Robinson, they volunteered as translators for Spanish-speaking families—offering not just words, but comfort, connection, and kindness.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of Mr. Trevin Robinson. His passion for teaching and commitment to providing meaningful, real-world experiences for his students shines through in moments like this. Because of his leadership and encouragement, these students walked away with an unforgettable and deeply impactful experience—one that will stay with them long after high school.
This is what education looks like at its best: learning that reaches beyond the classroom and touches the heart of the community.
