Special Capital Project Vote – November 12, 2025

The Oneida City School District will hold a Special Capital Project Vote on Tuesday, November 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Voters will be asked to consider Proposition 1, a bond resolution to fund important improvements across all district facilities, including LED lighting upgrades, HVAC system updates, and energy efficiency projects, at a total estimated cost of $3,000,000.

Quick Facts: No Cost to Taxpayers


$3 Million Project – Fully funded with NYS Building Aid and guaranteed energy savings.
No Tax Impact – The project will not increase school taxes.
Smart Investment – $2.61M in Building Aid + $390,000 in energy savings and incentives = project pays for itself. The district will keep saving money even after the project is paid off.
Energy Efficient Upgrades – LED lighting, upgraded heating/cooling, weatherization, and natural gas conversion.
Modern, Reliable Systems – Replacing outdated equipment for safer, more efficient schools.

OHS Students Attend College Fair

Some of our Oneida CSD Juniors and Seniors attended the SUNY College Fair at OCC, where they explored more than 40 SUNY campuses from across New York State.

Students had the valuable opportunity to connect directly with college admissions representatives, ask questions, and gather information to help guide their post-graduation plans.
