Recently, author and illustrator Matt McElligott, visited the Durhamville and Seneca Street libraries. Mrs. Brenner shared some photos from the event, capturing the excitement of the day!

Matthew McElligott is the talented author of several engaging children’s books, including "The Lion's Share", "Absolutely Not", and "Backbeard and the Birthday Suit". His work is known for its imaginative stories and vibrant illustrations that captivate young readers.

In addition to writing, Mr. McElligott teaches at Sage College. He is passionate about promoting literacy and creativity among children, frequently visiting elementary schools across the country to inspire students through his storytelling and illustrations. Mr. McElligott's efforts highlight the importance of reading and encourage students to embrace their own creativity.
