OHS Students Promote Mental Health Awareness

As part of the Mental Health Awareness Month initiative, OHS students Drew, Dylan, Colton, Aubrey, and Stephanie, representing their Teens for a Better World Club, engaged in a meaningful outreach activity at Seneca Street. The students divided into two groups and shared the book "Don't Feed the Worry Bug" with second-grade classes.
Following the reading, the high school students facilitated discussions with the second graders to explore the concept of worry and strategies for managing those feelings. To further support the students, they distributed stress balls and encouraged each child to create their own representation of a worry bug through drawing, fostering both creativity and emotional expression.
