2025 inductees of the Oneida City School District Fine Arts Hall of Fame

Congratulations to the 2025 inductees of the Oneida City School District Fine Arts Hall of Fame!
The two awardees will be inducted into our Oneida City School District Fine Arts Hall of Fame on June 18 at 6 pm in the lobby of the high school auditorium.
Meet the awardees:
Dr. Jennifer Townsley
Dr. Jennifer Townsley, a 2011 graduate of Oneida High School, is an award-winning, accomplished Music Educator and active performer.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor's in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia, her Master's in Music from Texas Tech University, and her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory of Music. She was a Voice Instructor at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy in the Dallas-Forth Worth metro area.
As a soprano, Jennifer has performed as a featured artist and soloist with Scheherazade Music Festival and Atlantic Music Festival. She was featured on KPR’s Live Performance studio, where she performed for award-winning composer Laurent Courbier’s “From the Chrysalis.” Recent dramatic roles include the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflote, “L’Ensolliead in Massenet’s “Cherubin,” and Mariann Paroo in the musical “The Music Man.”
She is currently the Instructor of Voice at William Jewell College and an Adjunct Professor at Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri. In the fall of 2025, Jennifer will be the Instructor of Voice at the University of Nebraska in Omaha.
