OSMS Bands welcomed the renowned composer and conductor Brian Balmages. Mr. Balmages worked with the 6th-grade band as well as the 7th and 8th-grade bands. During this educational experience, students performed two of his compositions and received valuable feedback directly from the composer, deepening their understanding of music composition and performance. Additionally, students took part in a Q&A session, allowing them to ask insightful questions and gain further knowledge about the art of music-making.
