Welcome Mr. Case
The Oneida City School District is delighted to announce Mr. Terrence Case as the new Assistant Principal for Otto Shortell Middle School.
Mr. Case joins OCSD with a distinguished background in education and professional experience. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland, a Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Syracuse University, and a CAS from SUNY Oswego.
Before coming to OCSD, Mr. Case gained professional experience in various positions. He worked as a Pre-K teacher at Head Start, served as a Kindergarten Special Education Teacher in the Syracuse City School District, and held roles at Solvay Elementary as a Kindergarten teacher and Dean of Students.
A Syracuse native, Mr. Case now resides in Jamesville with Amy, his wife of 11 years. Together, they are proud parents to three children—Carter, Harper, and Cora—and two dogs, Willow and Cuse.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Case is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying soccer, golf, and softball. He is a supporter of Syracuse Orange sports, the Yankees, the Giants (football), and the New York Rangers. Although, watching his children engage in their own sports and activities may rank as his most cherished pastime.
During his first year as Assistant Principal at Otto Shortell Middle School, Mr. Case aims to establish meaningful connections with students, parents, and faculty members. Additionally, he is committed to promoting both personal and academic growth within the school community.
The Oneida City School District warmly welcomes Mr. Case and looks forward to the contributions he will bring to our district!
