2nd Graders' Dissect Owl Pellets

Second-grade students in Mrs. Kelsey’s class had an exciting hands-on science lesson as they dissected owl pellets! This activity is part of the Diversity of Life unit, where students are learning about organisms that live in deciduous forests and how they adapt to their environments. By examining the contents of the pellets, students discovered what owls eat and how different species depend on one another in an ecosystem.
