4th Graders Build Cars in Science

In Mrs. Bradley's and Mrs. Sipley's 4th-grade science classes, students explored engineering concepts by designing and constructing self-moving cars. Utilizing their knowledge gained from the energy unit, they engaged in hands-on learning experiences that involved applying scientific principles to real-world challenges. Each student was tasked with drafting a design, building their car, and conducting tests to ensure functionality. The primary objective was for their cars to successfully travel a distance of at least one meter, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration in the engineering process.
