Seniors Get College and Career Ready
Seniors at Oneida High School aspiring to pursue higher education, gathered in the Auditorium for an educational session on navigating the college application process through the Common App. During this informative workshop, they were guided through the website, covering essential steps such as account creation, document upload procedures, understanding and completing the FERPA form, and distinguishing between various application strategies, including Early Decision, Rolling Admission, and Early Action. This session aimed to equip students with the knowledge and tools necessary for a successful college application.
Additionally, Madison County Working Solutions paid a visit to our seniors who are considering entering the workforce upon graduation.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Ellen Bowe, Donna Schaefer, and Angel Steiner for delivering an enlightening presentation on the comprehensive support services Working Solutions offers. The students were informed about the array of assistance available to them, including resume writing, job search support, transportation, childcare, funding for training programs, on-the-job training opportunities, and more!
