At Durhamville Elementary, Mrs. Herzog's class participated in an interactive learning experience centered on fractions, a fundamental mathematical concept!

Students volunteered to showcase their comprehension of fractions through a hands-on activity. They began as a large group that then divided into smaller subgroups to represent different fractions visually. For example, they physically showed the class what 1/3 of six students looked like.

This dynamic approach not only made the learning process enjoyable but also enabled students to understand fractions in a visual and practical manner, reinforcing the idea that mathematics is not just about numbers but also about real-world application and teamwork!
