Support Our Local Food Pantry: Donate at This Season's Concerts!
Dear Oneida Music Families,
We hope this finds you and your families in good health and in good spirits. The holiday season is upon us and with that comes a very busy concert season for our student musicians. All of our performing groups are working very hard to put together what should be wonderful programs for your listening pleasure.
This year, the Oneida Music Department has decided to support the local food pantry this concert season. Each concert will be a drop-off point for non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, mac n’ cheese, etc. Also, paper products and toiletries will be accepted. This time of year can be difficult for many, so we want to lighten that burden with a simple donation of canned goods, paper towels, or even bath soap.
Simply bring an item with you to a concert and place it in one of the bins in the lobby of the OHS Auditorium. Once items are collected, we will deliver them to the local pantries to be used as needed. Here is a list of concerts you may choose to attend:
- November 25 - OHS Wind Ensemble, 7:30 pm in OHS Auditorium
- December 3 - OSMS Choral Concert, 7 pm in OHS Auditorium
- December 4 - Durhamville Concert, 6:30 pm in OHS Auditorium
- December 11 - OSMS Band Concert, 7 pm in OHS Auditorium
- December 18 - OHS Choral Concert, 7:30 pm in OHS Auditorium
Please make every effort to attend these performances. Our students work extremely hard and are excited to perform for you, the audience. Please give what you can, and have a safe and happy holiday season.
Sincerely,
The Oneida Music Department
