Retirement Waiver-Section 211

Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law – Employment Waiver Notification Effective September 1, 2020.

Matthew Ware received approval for temporary employment as a retiree under Section 211 of the Retirement and Social Security Law. This temporary employment as a School Resource Officer for the Oneida City School District will run from September 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021. The compensation package for this employment is authorized at a salary of $55,167. As a retiree, Mr. Ware reserves the right to receive his pension while employed with the Oneida City School District. 

 

Taxpayer Notification: Madison-Oneida BOCES has applied for and was approved, on behalf of the Oneida City School District, the temporary employment of Dr. Kathleen Davis under Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and §80-5.5 of Commissioner's Regulations. Dr. Davis has been approved for service as Interim Superintendent of Schools for the period of February 8, 2021 - June 30, 2021. Dr. Davis will be compensated $700.00/day for the term of interim employment and has the right to receive a pension while so employed.
