Absences
If a student is absent from school, he/she must bring in a written excuse on the day that he/she returns to school. If a student is absent for more than three consecutive days, he/she must bring in a note from a doctor outlining the reason for the extended absence. Parents, in the event that your child is absent, please call the school nurse, Mrs. Collins, at (315) 363-3650. You may leave a message if it is before or after school hours.

Arrival
Students should be in their classrooms and ready to start the day by 8:45am.
Busses generally arrive around 8:30am. Breakfast is served every day, in classrooms, starting at 8:30am. Students may arrive at school anytime after 8:30am. Walkers/student drop-offs may enter the building through the door located at the side of the building.

Dismissal
Students who are being picked up by a parent or approved adult will be dismissed at 3:05pm. Please park at St. Joseph's church and wait outside the dismissal door, located at the side of the building. A photo ID is required for pickup. Students who are riding the school bus will be dismissed at 3:15pm and will be walked to the bus by their classroom teacher.

Playground
Students are always invited back to play on the playground after school hours with adult supervision. However, students must wait until 3:45pm before returning to school to avoid traffic and movement during dismissal. It is important to follow the rules posted on the playground.
