Welcome to the Oneida City School District Transportation Office

School bus drivers are the most highly trained, tested and observed drivers on the road. Oneida bus drivers earn CDL Class B licenses with Air Brake, Passenger and School Bus endorsements. All are fingerprinted and criminal-history-cleared by NY DCJS and the FBI. They have annual medical exams and physical performance testing. They must pass drug and alcohol tests (including random) and in-service written and behind-the-wheel tests.

Any questions or concerns regarding the school bus routes, our drivers, or any behavior issues, please feel free to call or email the bus garage and speak to the Transportation Supervisor, Craig Manderville.  Phone: 315-363-5470

The Madison County Sheriff's Office has some important information regarding appropriate driving precautions around school buses and laws that you should be aware of.

Additionally, be sure to check out this message from the NYS Department of Transportation.
