Share Your Hopes for OCSD on Thought Exchange
Posted on 01/08/2020

Dear Parents/Guardians, Students, and Staff,

Oneida City School District has started using a new tool called Thoughtexchange to gather more information from our parents, students, staff and community members.   We are excited to launch our first district wide exchange by asking everyone what their hopes are for the Oneida City School District in the next decadeIn the January newsletter, I wrote about the power of having hope.  ‘Hope’ has ways to motivate people which can result in a greater sense of optimism.  ‘Hope’ can be a powerful message to individuals and applies to Oneida and how we look at our future as being ‘hopeful’.

We want to hear from you! What are your hopes for our schools?   Your thoughts about the hopes for the district will be shared throughout the district, in committees, and in social media. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.

You'll be asked to respond to one open-ended question, consider and assign stars to some of the ideas shared by others (20 to 30 is ideal), and learn what's important to the group.

Your thoughts and stars are confidential. You can come back as often as you'd like to participate and, in fact, we ask that you do come back to star some of the new ideas shared since you first participated.

Participation will be open until January 19th.

If you need technical help, please call Thoughtexchange at 1-800-361-9027 ext. 4 or email [email protected]

Thank you in advance for your help and input.

Sincerely,

Mary-Margaret Zehr- Superintendent
