Rachel's Challenge

Oneida High School will be hosting the Rachel's Challenge event on October 24th. This community event is open to all community members ages 12 and up, in the auditorium from 6-7pm, and we’d love for you to come!
Rachel’s Challenge was founded by Darrell Scott, father of Rachel Scott. Rachel was the first victim to be killed in the Columbine High School tragedy on April 20, 1999. The mission of Rachel’s Challenge is to inspire, equip and empower every person to create a permanent positive culture change in his/her school, business and community by starting a chain reaction of kindness and compassion. The Rachel’s Challenge program is a tribute to Rachel Scott and her enduring message.
The presentation contains powerful video/audio footage of Rachel’s life and the Columbine tragedy. It holds students spell-bound and motivates them to positive change in the way they treat others. Each presentation is geared for older students and adults, and is not recommended for elementary aged students. Check out this intro video for more information: https://vimeo.com/33291369
