OHS Drama Club Presents Murder Mystery
Posted on 10/31/2018

OHS’ Drama Club is coming back with the Murder Mystery You Didn’t Say it Was Haunted by Michael Flynn. The cast has been working hard to top the 2016 Murder Mystery 13 Past Midnight.

The play takes place on Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd from 7 to 9 pm. Director Adam Litwak stated that “whenever I choose a play I look for a comedic twist on a story to make the audience laugh.” He stated he chose this play because it had several opportunities to cast many people.

The cast includes Abby Egger, Ben O’Connell and Mary Brown. One of the main stars is Junior Andy Sayles, who says his inspiration is “actually Mr. Litwak.” He is the type of person that “is able to juggle many things at once.” Andy plays Mr. Fortune, who he says is really “energetic in a way that Mr. Litwak presents in every conversation.” Senior Sarah Paul says that “my character this year is very determined to get what she wants and will do whatever it takes to get it.  I share the same determination, but I’m not as crazy as her!” These two stars have been in most of the plays from middle school up until now. Sarah shares “it’s surreal that it’s my last year in the drama program. It’s brought so much fun and happiness to my high school years and I highly recommend it to anyone.” We are looking forward to seeing her last performance later this fall. Andy says that this show is going to be a crowd pleaser “I think that the show is great. It’s a little on the weird side which can be good because it keeps the audience on their toes. I can tell you right now that the audience will laugh through the entire show.”

Both showings will be at the OHS auditorium. Tickets cost $5 at the door or you can reserve a seat by buying your tickets from one of the cast members of the show by the end of the day Thursday.
