Hundreds of students and their families attended the Oneida City School District-wide Art Show on March 19. The hallways of Otto Shortell Middle School were lined with artwork from students K-12.
This year's art show was In Loving Memory of Trevor Rice, a former student who was tragically killed last year. Trevor was a talented artist who is deeply missed by many. Some of his artwork was on display during the show. Cards that were designed and created by elementary students were sold as a fundraiser towards the Trevor Rice Art Award.
This is a scholarship started by his mother to be given to an art student who displays generousity and kindness.
Here is a link to some of Trevor's work.
