Thank you to our families for all of their hard work in ensuring that students are at school everyday by 8:50am. Attendance is critical in the success of our students! One study (outlined in the image below) found that children who were chronically absent in Kindergarten and First Grade were far less likely to read proficiently at the end of third grade.
At the beginning of each month, parents will receive an attendance letter outlining their child’s absences. Our goal is to ensure that no student is chronically absent (missing more than 18 school days for the school year).
